Smoke's Poutinerie :: Midnight Snacks

Veggie Deluxe, Montreal Poutine, Beef Peppercorn, Traditional Poutine
After a plethora of fruity midnight snacks, it's time to indulge. Open until 4am, Smoke's sits right on top of Burrito Boyz in the Entertainment district. After a late night of partying at Woo studying like good nerds, we headed to Smoke's Poutinerie to satisfy a late night greasy food craving.

Smoke's Poutinerie
Verdict: Heavy meal, indulgence at 3AM. Only recommended if you're at the tipsy stage where anything bad tastes amazing
Meal: Late late night eats
Price: ~$8 + tax & tip
Location: 218 Adelaide St W

Honestly, there's not much to chat about. As usual, it was full of loud post-clubbers when we got there at 3AM and everyone was stuffing their faces with poutines and burritos - both in the shop and on the street. How am I able to post so fast after a long night? Thank a late evening coffee and there's nothing better than writing a quick post to wind down before bed. I'm really just posting food pr0n.

Traditional Poutine ($5.49 small, $6.99 large)

Chili Poutine ($6.49 small, $7.99 large)

Bacon Poutine ($6.49 small, $7.99 large)
With extra bacon, please

The following is an old picture that I took of a pre-theatre dinner with friends. I remember feeling really heavy and quite frankly gross while Maria sang about the hills being alive. From this, I learned that Smoke's is only really good when you're tired & tipsy - perfect for stirring a greasy, heavy, appetite.

Also, keep an eye out for the Smoke's on Wheels truck, touring Toronto! I spotted this during the G20 summit, while there was a march going through Queen's Park. Makes sense, protesters get hungry too. How kind of Smoke's to keep them in mind.

Now that the heaviness of the poutine has officially settled, I'm off to bed. Good night, and happy birthday Iris!
